Rootstand heads out to Ohio and Indiana
We are going to be at Peach's Grill in Yellow Springs, Ohio this weekend, home of the famous Antioch College. Next weekend we'll be in Indiana for three nights rockin it in our mando-man Pauly's new neighborhood.

Family weddings, albums, and tour plans are underway for the summer of 2008. While we will be playing club and festival dates this summer, we are changing are focus for Rootstand slightly...We'd like to see some of our fellow roots musicians that we have worked with over the last couple of years, have a crack at some of the great Michigan fesivals we have enjoyed these past five years. We get alot of e-mails asking us to continually come back to great festivals in Michigan and beyond, and we wish that we could play them every year. This has been a year of great growth for the Rootstand team and we are extremely excited about the opportunities that lay ahead. Local Recording artists Rootstand and Pauls Big Radio are teaming up to host the first Ypsifolk Roots Music Festival at the Riverside Arts Center this December 27th-30th 2006.
These two premier Michigan acoustic bands aim to bring a slice of the regional roots music community back to Ypsilanti. The Ypsifolk Roots Music Festival is a series of high quality acoustic folk concerts reflecting the diversity and color of our local Michigan community. Rootstand Welcomes Bass Ace Tony Spaniola
We want to formally introduce and thank our new friend and musical accomplice Tony Spaniola. Tony is a accomplished bass player from the Detroit area and is alumni of several great local bands like Orkestra Orange, Metascene, and Garden of Souls. When he's not busy melting faces on his bass, he attends Harvard University... If you haven't seen the Rootsboys in a awhile, you should come get an education in groove.
